• Website compromise, contained in a day. Identified a live server compromise at a portfolio company, ran the UK GDPR breach assessment and the ICO 72-hour notification decision, and had the site rebuilt and restored inside the week.
• Companies House diligence bot. Pulls UK directors, shareholders and three years of management accounts on demand from a single trigger.
• Live financial dashboard. Xero to Make.com to Apps Script, replacing the wait-for-monthly-accounts cycle with daily-syncing numbers.
• 257-item inventory catalogue with a weekly stock alert digest. Replaced ad-hoc manual checks and removed the need for a system change the team had been actively evaluating.
• Search visibility 0 to 14.8% in three weeks. Indexing and language-tag faults fixed, impressions tripled, reporting handed to an automated weekly brief.
• Lead pipeline at c.£80 per qualified lead. Automated data collection across four London boroughs feeding an outbound campaign.
• 22-user email platform migration over a weekend, with no downtime and no data loss.
• Recurring SaaS subscriptions retired and rebuilt on tooling the business already owned.

A live business dashboard

This is the kind of thing I build most often. Instead of waiting until the middle of next month to find out how the business did, the owner opens one page and sees it today: money in, money out, who owes what, how close the year is to target. It updates itself every morning.

Secluded Gems

A recommendation engine for video games. It reads a catalogue of tens of thousands of titles and surfaces the genuinely good ones nobody has heard of. It uses the same kind of recommendation logic Netflix uses to decide what to put in front of you, pointed at a different problem.

I built it as a hobby, and as somewhere to find out what Claude, Gemini and Google Cloud can actually do before I put any of it near someone’s business. What breaks, what scales, what AI is reliable at and what it quietly gets wrong. I learn that here, at my own expense, not on your systems.

About

Automation and business systems engineer based in the Philippines, working remote. Currently the in-house automation and systems lead for a UK private investment group and its portfolio of trading companies across architecture, events and property.

I own the group’s automation platform, its Google Workspace and Cloud administration, and the board secretariat across six monthly boards and three quarterly boards. I also lead a small offshore delivery team and designed the performance framework it runs on.
